<p>  Neukol is a client application, users need to use it after installation, it is a icloud classroom product applied to online teaching. Client products currently support windows,MAC,IOS and Android mobile platform .   Product download address：<a href="https://www.neukol.com/#/download">https://www.neukol.com/#/download</a></p> <h5>Neukol related concepts</h5> <h6>Identity related（users、teachers、students、institutions etc.）</h6> <p>  Neukol system supports to become a user of Neukol by means of phone number registration/login, and experience correspnding functions of neukol. At the same time, it supports third-party system intergration. After transmitting necessary business data, users can directly use Neukol product for teaching without registration/login.</p> <ul> <li>Institution：A kind of Neukol account, users of neukol client products must belong to at least one institution. classroom reservation, billing and other operations are carried out in institutions. Each institution will have a unique Sid and secret that can invoke neukol's open API to integrate neukol client;</li> <li>User：Users of neukol client products, the establishment of user identity includes login and registration through mobile phone number and automatic registration by transmitting userid when making an appointment for class through a third party;</li> <li>Teacher：The role of teaching in the classroom, which is consistent with the concept of the teacher in the real classroom, and has the control authority over the classroom during class;</li> <li>Student：The role of listening in the classroom, less operable permissions. The teacher can give some permissions to students according to the needs of the classroom, so that they can have the permissions of brush, stage, etc;</li> <li>Teaching Assistant：The role of assisting teaching in the classroom helps teachers maintain classroom order and deal with classroom emergencies in the classroom, and has most of the authority of teachers in class.</li> </ul> <h6>Class related</h6> <ul> <li>Class section is the smallest teaching unit, after booking a class section, teachers and students can enter online class by Neukol client application to complete online teaching;</li> <li>If the institution wants to classify different class sections like a course contains mutliple classe sections, it can specify a course name to classify when booking a class;</li> <li>Neukol will not check the time overlap of multiple classes. For the teaching time of the same teacher and student, the institution needs to ensure that the time will not cross when making an appointment for a class section.</li> </ul> <h6>iCloud related</h6> <ul> <li>Neukol creates an icloud for each user, and each institution Sid also has an institution icloud；</li> <li>iCloud is used to upload and save courseware required for teaching, the courseware in the icloud are supported to be opened and used in neukol's classroom.</li> <li>At present, the icloud can store PNG, JPEG, JPG, PDF, PPT, pptx, Doc, docx, MP3, MP4 and other courseware types supported by the system；</li> <li>Teachers can manage theirselves icloud, and open each courseware supported by the system in theirselves icloud when having classes;</li> <li>Institution can appoint a catalogue in institution's icloud, when teacher teching this class they can open each courseware supported by the system under that catalogue.</li> </ul> <h6>Recording related</h6> <ul> <li>Neukol supports classroom recording, which includes two ways: cloud recording and local recording;</li> <li>Institutions can enable the start setting of cloud recording in the backstage. After recording, they can review it in the backstage;</li> <li>Teachers can enable the start setting of local recording locally. After recording, they can review it locally on the device;</li> <li>In order to ensure the recording effect, you need to select either cloud recording or local recording every time you turn it on, that is, teachers' local recording is not supported when cloud recording is turned on.</li> </ul>
